Station is relatively sheltered from wind and measurement area is sheltered further. Measurements are the sum of multiple interim measurements. (See the filed significant weather reports.) The relatively high water content appears to result from small snowflake size for the storm. (Max temperature has been 30 deg.) Snow depth measurements and gauge are only 3 feet apart so correlation should be OK. A car has been abandoned in the street. (Headed west in the eastbound lane.) Visibility still only 1/4 mile in continuing snow.
