No visible snow in guage, but there was some very light flakes of snow coming down around 12:00 pm. Cannot break through the bottem 3" of ice to get a melted core. Bird feeder overflowing with birds - easily over 50 a day all day - finches, assorted woodpeckers, nuthatches, chickadees, juncos, doves, and assorted kinds of sparrow. |

At 8:30 am on 10th there was a fog bow? over Sterling, IL. There was no moisture in the air other than what looked like fog and the rainbow extended only as high a a layer of that fog.Some minor drifting. Temp 11.3, bar 30.15, hum 51%, dp -3.3, very light NW wind. Snow depth varied from 7 to 10 inches with most being around 8" with a 1.5 layer of ice at the bottem. |

No core measurement, because that would be the sam as the snowboard. Very fine now began on Mon at 11:00 am and snowed all day with just a trace of accumulation by 10:30 pm.
