I observed 2 rounds of thunderstorms, one shortly after midnight and another one that began at around 4:30 and ended at 6 this morning. Heavy rain and frequent lightning occurred from both rounds. There was minor flooding, mainly in poor drainage areas as well as a few streets in town.

9/3/2010 7:00 AM 0.42 M M M M Rainfall totals from the last 24 hours. The rain accumulated from 3 rounds of thunderstorms. The first round occured just after noon. Little rain accumulated. The second round occurred at approximately 6 PM. amounts were less than 1/4 inch. The last round occurred at 9:30 P.M, where nearly 0.25" of rain fell in 10 minutes. There was minor flooding yesterday during the rainfall, but no flooding continued this morning.
