I have been measuring for about 2 weeks so I was unprepared for measuring snow. I do not have a snow board prepared but did have about around 1" of snow on flat surfaces on the farm. It melted so fast so I know this isn't accurate. The snow only stayed on the top of plants but melted on the ground once it landed. We had a calm day with winds from 5-10 mph. The temp this morning is 30 before daylight. We have some clear sky this morning but dark clouds are still around. We also had sleet, rain & snow all at once starting at 7:09 P.M with the sleet then brief heavy snow & rain. This might have lasted 5 min or a little more. I put trace for snow only because I didn't get it measured & it would have been a guess. |

Hazy all day yesterday, very muggy, Light rain this morning, 52 degrees & very overcast. We had a down pour of rain that started around 10:30 with quarter size hail at 10:40 with thunder & a lot of lightening.The wind was around 20-25 with gusts. WOW!!! what a horrible storm last night! Bigger than golf ball size hail at home with winds 40 mph & stronger!! We were on our way to a fire & was 6 miles from home. A lot more hail there but dime to mainly golf ball size. Broke windshield in our fire rig & mirror & tore the light bar apart as well as dents. Our rig was facing away from the storm too. The siding on our house has holes & dented vehicles.Hysham really got hammered as well. At least 100 yesterday again & windy at times.The hail was measured at our home 45 min after the storm & still was bigger than golf ball size. Well over 2" in round balls of solid ice. Looks like our crops are fine THANK YOU GOD!! They are below the farm. Hazy this morning but sunny & clear & 59 F. Praying the storm misses us today & the rest of you. |

We had a beautiful day yesterday. Temps in the high 80's. We had dime to quarter size hail with out wind at 6:20 this morning. It ended at 6:25 A.M. The temp is 60 degrees with a slight breeze & cloudy sky. At 7:02 I am still finding nickel size hard hail & thundering.No damage but storm might not be over. Early morning hail is not a good thing normally from our experience. |

It rained after my report yesterday morning in the high 80's, stayed cloudy most of the day & threatened rain as well. This morning is cloudy, 60 degrees, very black clouds to the immediate west, can hear thunder,60 degrees & calm. The storm will be starting soon it looks like. Praying that nothing bad comes of it. |

Had a fire in our pasture in the hills yesterday. One clap of lightning,2 strikes in our county & 1 was on our land. Came from 1 little cloud otherwise sky was clear. Fire blew up in seconds,grew fast & very hot. A little rain below the fire,about a 10-15 mph wind.Very few wisps of clouds this A.M wind about 5 mph.around 60 degrees & hazy. |
