WOW! This has been a drought-busting couple of days! 4.05" may be the most single-day amount I've recorded in the 2+ years I've been with CoCoRaHS! What's more amazing, it all fell after 9pm! There is a lot of debris in my back yard this morning, sticks, leaves, pine needles, etc.. where a draining culvert goes underneath my back yard. It must have flooded over during the heaviest rain last night, but the ground appears to be drinking all this in, very little puddles in the yard @ obs time, even though it's still raining somewhat. |
