SNOW! Yes, I love snow, at any time of the year. This morning we woke up to a gift falling lightly from above! At 7:00AM, Temp 34.1F, Winds Calm, with light snow mixed with rain, alternating to all snow, then back. Aproximately 1/4" of very wet snow on the deck. Snow covered all non-paved surfaces. |

At 7:00AM, Temp 37.F, Winds Calm, Light Fog, Light Rain. Yesterday around 11:00AM, we had large sleet that lasted for aproximately 1.5 Hrs. The precip then changed to what most resembles snowballs; big clumps of snowflakes, lots of them and quite heavy at times, but mostly mixed in with rain. The observed snowballing lasted for aproximately 45 Min. At 7:00PM last night I measured .44 in my gauge, and at 7:00AM this morning I measured another .44. Interesting balance of precip over the last 24 hrs. |

At 7:00AM, Temp 34.5*F, Winds; very light breeze, Sky is a beautiful deep cloudless blue. Light covering of dew on the rain gauge. Yesterday's weather was a very mixed bag; one minute the sun was shining, the next it was pouring rain. Heavy clouds all around showed streaks of rain falling to the ground, but since it was reaching the ground, don't know if I can call it Virga. One cloud had such heavy rain falling from it that it looked like what a large F4 tornado might look like. |

Guess I started them too early indoors; first time trying this. Hope I don't get a frost, but if I do, plastic sheeting and light bulbs as well as a fan are ready to save the day (or should I say night?). |

Temp 57.3*F, Mostly Cloudy with some very small breaks thru to blue sky; L4 or L5 Stratocumulus. Winds Calm. Had multiple thunderstorms come thru last night. They were all fast movers and the heavy rain did not last long. Some Severe storms passed to my West though did not give us a direct hit. Much lightning in the sky with muted thunder except during the storms that did hit here. No major claps or near strikes at this location. Main time frame from first storm to last was aproximately 9:30PM thru 1:00AM.
