After that, approx 0.2 inches noted but not emptied. At approx 12:30 am, woke up to heavy downpour; rain continued until recently with periods of heavy downpours. heard thunder and was overcast at 4:30 pm. Thunder continued and about 5:45, the wind picked up some and we had some sprinkles. Rain missed us once again. The field grass all turning brown and major cracking in soil due to no decent rain for over a month. |

Yesterday there was definitely unusual flooding - in the afternoon (around 1:30-2 pm) I went to the river park near us and the Guadalupe was definitely much higher plus the water was over the Edge Falls Road Bridge at that time. Have not checked this morning, but water should have receded some since the rain has stopped in this area. Had a short break in the rain yesterday between approx 1:30-5:30 p.m. - then a few more downpours; stopped by approx 7:30 pm. Ground remains saturated and very muddy; most of standing water has soaked in. In the neighborhood, still see some standing water in ditches, etc. |
