6/5/2011 7:00 AM 2.61 0.0 M 0.0 M High of 97º yesterday...at 810p temperatures dropped 15º in a matter of minutes and continued to rapidly fall as outflowed rushed in from the northeast. A shelf cloud was visible as winds gusted from 40-60mph for nearly 10 minutes. Winds gusted to 30mph for the next 20 minutes until the precipitation arrived. Very intense downpours occured at several times for the next 3 hours, as 2.61" of rain fell. Yards flooded and roads were covered in water. Several limbs were knocked down, and trees and twigs blew through the air. Additionally...this was one of the most intense CG lightning storms I've seen in the 11 years at this location.
