Didn't change over to all snow until sometime after 4:00am, most likely not long before this observation. Some pretty big wet flakes failing right now. Quite calm right now... I did receive 1.0" of heavy wet snow between 8:00am - noon, but then the wind picked up and after the snow became dry and powdery, it blew right off the measuring board... used a step to my back deck to obtain estimates as that was a bit more sheltered from the wind. Wind was still blowing pretty good at the time of observation.

Was able to melt and measure snow from inside of the gauge, but impossible to measure new snowfall... all of the new snow that fell on the snowboard simply blew off due to the gusty winds, especially yesterday morning. The board was completely clean this morning at observation time. Not even easy to provide an estimate as it was difficult to tell what was new snow yesterday compared to snow that was just blowing around. Maybe an inch or two of new snow after 8:00am.
