Started raining lightly around 4pm--began harder rain plus thunder & lightning later--definitely by 10pm--the steady rain plus thunder & lightning continued all night long--the heaviest was around 5:15am--I thought the guage might overflow both cylinders the way it was coming down,but it was maybe a third full in the outer cylinder after filling the inner.(well over 2"). Never witnessed a storm last that long--it was wonderful--we were so dry that there's not that many big puddles around. As I write the rain has picked up a bit again, and a little thunder was just heard. |
