4/17/2011 9:15 AM 3.00 M M M M terrible storm sat. night.high winds, much lightning and thunder. tornado in currituck cty, which is just across the bridge from dare, which crossed the currituck sound and went into duck, nc, dare cty. did much damage to buildings, houses, trees. power out in some areas, trees and debris scattered all around the damage. storm hit here around 9pm and lasted until around 10:30pm.
