My wind gauge is frozen. But I would guess (based on the Beaufort scale) that winds are sustained around 30-35 mph up here, with higher gusts over 40 mph. Visibility is ZERO. 11 degrees with a brutal wind chill. LES coming down but I can only guess how much overnight, due to the wind, maybe 3-4". |

I don't have the rain gauge set up but it was raining hard at obs time and I observed significant ponding on the roads/streets on the commute into Ithaca. Mostly caused by drainage issues due to the snow and ice. No creek flooding observed this AM. Snowpack shrunk a couple inches but is now wetter and denser, if that's even possible. |

THE SNOW IS FINALLY GONE!!! It was 78 degrees and raining up here yesterday...but that snow still held on until about 5 pm. Now to get a new rain gauge so I can get back to reporting that. |
