When I got up at 0230 hrs, it was raining and some lightening, no thunder was heard. It was still raining at 0800 hrs so left the gauge alone until rain stopped at 1000 hrs.

The hail stones were so tiny that they almost looked like the rain drops themselves. Rain stopped about 1945 hrs and rained again about 2030 hrs lasting only about 20 minutes.

At 1720 hrs, the rain started again which turned to heavy rain at 1723 hrs, stopped at 1730 hrs with sun coming back out. Cooled the temperature to 94 degrees. At 1903 hours, rain again began to gently fall and lasted to 1915 hours.

I began thinking that the rain would pass by once again, but the rain did begin to fall around 1900 hrs and lasted for about 30 minutes, with light rain for an hour after 1930 hrs. I emailed the info people about my problem of trying to enter the amounts of rain, but have not heard back from them. I am still experiencing the problem. When I begin to type in the amount, the first number will get in the box then the screen goes dark and the message pops up stating the page is loading. I press the ok button and type the second number in to make the box correct. It is annoying. Thanks again for hearing my woes.

Second, the gentle rains continued till 0640 hours which the heavy rains came again. The heavy rains ceased 0700 hrs into gentle rain again. Third, the gentle rain continued until 0703 hrs, then the heavy rains fell again until 0710 hrs when it stopped. Only a sprinkling rain fell lasting about 5 minutes.

It must have been light rain cause it did not awaken me. I did not check the gauge at 8:00 AM due to the light rain still raining. The rain seem to pause at 11:30 AM.
