WOW did it ever rain!!! 2.14" catch this morning. Most came late afternoon. Showers began about 2:40pm, with sarious thunder rolls around 4pm. Very heavy downpour lasting till around 6:30 pm. We got the good soaking we have needed here in Robeson all spring. It's cool and cloudy out this morning, more rain to come perhaps. The corn and other crops will take off now! County emergency services said they had no reports of flooding or downed trees. But all in all, we got a good wet down here in my area, my newly planted section of lawn grass is loving it. So are the weeds I'm constantly battling. Fellows corn field across the road is looking real good. It's sunny and calm out, going to get WARM! |

Overcast this morning, hopefully more rain to come. This bit of a catch came late afternoon Sunday. Slow easy sprinkles turning onto misty rain into the early evening. |

Rain began to fall again just as I was taking todays 7am reading. This little catch came late afternoon Monday. We have had drizzling rain all morning with some strong winds. I could hear some thunder rolling off to the NE of here. Its now 11:55 AM and the rain is light but steady, hopefully to last long enough for a good soaking, which we need around Robeson. |

65* at 7am. Clear mostly, looks like another "either or" day, some sun, some rain. We had showers yesterday, had to go to Hope Mills and ran into a tremendous down pour just at St. Pauls exit. Poor visibility for several miles, but were treated to a double Rainbow after the storm crossed I-95. The inner bow was neon bright. Many people commented that it was the brightest they had ever seen. |

Still a mist of rain now at 9:45am. Quick, hard shower yesterday around 10am didn't amount to much of a catch. Sprinkles since then, perhaps more today while we are down at the coast. |
