2/26/2012 2:30 PM The particles were frozen, more or less spherical, fairly hard, and bounced when they hit our deck. I could mash the largest particles into lenticular shapes, but they did not pulverize or mash flat. Sizes varied, with the largest just over 1/4-inch. The ground was turned somewhat white briefly, but there was no real depth to the accumulation and it melted quickly.
