The lowest temperature during the rain/snow event was 34 degrees F. Almost all of the snow accumulated (on Oct. 29) between 6 and 11 am, which is also when full-leaved deciduous limbs (e.g. oak, maple) were frequently heard popping, breaking, and falling in the nearby woods.
