No water in guage at obs time. Funnel in guage. Snow piled rather high (inches) up on top of guage - used snow swatter to compress snow into funnel. Removed funnel and inner cyliner and placed all in separate container to melt. Added 0.5" of warm water - total of snow from guage and added water was 0.76" 0.76 - 0.50 = 0.26 reported Used rain guage on snow board and snow swatter as shown in vidio: 3.9" of snow (avg of 6 measurments) melted with 0.5" warm water - 0.8" of water total - reported 0.30" of water from 3.9" of snow.
