The sun almost came out and melted what little we got and then around sundown we got another dusting.

It started as rain, then sleet, then a mixture w/snow, then snow, then a mixture, etc. When I checked the rain guage this morning everything was on the outside because the winds brought the precipitation horizontally. Inside the rain guage was .02, outside .12. Unfortunately this discounts the rain as it did not stick to the outside of the rain guage, but I can only record what is actually there.
