Light accumulations due to above freezing temps. New round of heavy snow starting just about time of report this morning. Freezing rain amounted to about .25 inch on exposed surfaces. |

And yes, 19.5" is a correct measurement. Unfortunately, snow bridged the rain gauge so precipitation total is low. Rapid melting of snow already on the ground has made SWE and core samples impossible to make accurately. Snow, light rain and sleet with some graupel thrown in. Heavy round of snow early morning into the afternoon with about 6 inches of accumulation, clearing during the afternoon and most of the early snow melted off. Snow began again around 20:00 and continued throughout the night with heavy snowfall and accumulation of another 14 inches. Light snow continues at time of report. |
