Latest system was mostly a rain event...light snow started falling yesterday shortly after 1pm but changed to rain before 2pm...no snow accumulation. Rain lasted several hours then dimished to drizzle and changed to freezing drizzle leaving a thin coat of ice on elevated surfaces. Temp rose to 35 by 6am; thus, melting off the accumulated ice. |

Intense snow squall band associated in west flow dropped a quick 2-inches of snow - yesterday in the mid to late morning hours....the band was about 3 to 4 miles wide with areas outside the band receiving less than an inch. Another alberta clipper decended upon us yesterday and deposited an inch of snow - Once again the snow was fluffy with a low water content.
