6/6/2013	7:00 AM	1.07	M	M	M	M	Severe Thunderstorm last night from 1930-2130L. Cannon AFB measured 60 knots (69MPH) winds. Lubbock measured 67 knots (77MPH). Visibility reduced to Zero with wall of dirt. This was a vicious storm!!
6/8/2013	7:00 AM	0.47	M	M	M	M	F0 short lived tornado last evening approximately 8PM between Floyd and Portales. Ground truth suggests it was on the ground about 1 mile. 13 electrical poles, and two dairies sustained damage. Numerous cow shelters were ripped to shreds. One circle pivot was completely turned over. Another had 3 sections and the pivot point destroyed. The latter pivot also had the pivot point cement foundation pulled up from the ground. I estimate that between 2-4 inches fell in a very short period of time triggering flash flooding covering SH 267 completely for rather longish stretches of highway. The road was completely covered with water at Floyd Schools in the center of town.
