Really strong winds began around 2240 hrs or so. Went out to close birds down in coop and felt a few flakes around 2310 hrs - looked like showers were more obvious to west over city. Never saw any significant snow or rain, but could tell we had some via car windshield/hood this morning. Not much at all though. |

Pretty good Rain with some snow mixed in from Fernley to just east of Hazen at 0233 to 0243 hrs. Light rain was already falling when getting home from work at 0305 hrs. Then seemed like it lasted till about 0615 hrs. Surprised about amount received but makes sense looking at roads/cars at 0600 hrs before going to bed. |

Had a light rainshower or two prior to 0225 hrs noted when I put the dogs out. At 0235 hrs snow flakes began to fall in backyard when checking on pigeons. Had about 1/4 inch of snow grains accummulate by 0700 with some snow mixed in. |

Had a couple light snow showers around 1215 hrs and 1357 hrs and then a snow pellet shower for about 15 minutes at 1450 hrs. Had a good dusting in Fernley Monday night with snow off and on from around 1800 to just about 0100 hrs while at work - got about 1/4 inch on dirt with but roads stayed warm with temp at or above 34 degrees most of time. Had some snow showers off and on Monday night in Fallon per the wife. |

Not sure what time rain began in morning - figure about 0715 hrs and lasted pretty steady with lighter periods until about 1415 hrs. Had one brief shower in afternoon about 1635 hrs when radar looked like it was done for day around 1530 hrs - dried off cars and then came another shower - go figure. |

Again, nothing in the air or on the ground although the forecast went from 40 to 20 percent yesterday. Note, no forecasted precip and we had a snow pellet shower at 1545 hrs on 3-8-13 with a lot of other showers going on around the area. Will update in tomorrow's report. |

Unforecasted rain on 5-5-13 at 6:30 pm with about a 45 mph gust front or downburst - blew the yard apart. Saw nothing that looked convective on the radar, but observed good CBMAM SE-SW-NW-NE coming over area right before wind gusts. Then at 5:00 am had good shower with .02 inches lasting about 25 minutes. |

80 percent forecast failed miserably for precip. Had light fairly steady rain from about 1402 - 1522 hrs on afternoon of 5-6-13. Saw nothing else during the day or into the night. Noted the base had some precip, but never saw much other than listed above. Night might have had a shower, but again car windshielf showed no signs of anything. Advice for Fallon City - don't forecast 80 percent chance cause it never hits and the rain barely happens if at all. Just my observation from last several 80 percent calls. |

Hellatious winds, worst I've ever seen at my residence. No precip at all - everything got blown away.Base had a gust to 60 mph - I would bet they were a little stronger in town as it looked like the cell was off to the SW that generated this outflow. Amazed I did not see more tree damage on way to work in Fernley at 1700 hours to 1730 hrs. |

Tied up for last few days. Wife reported major tstm around 6:58 pm with wind and hard rain for about 5 minutes - then light shower ended about 15 minutes later. guage showed .01 precip. While at work in FERNLEY - We had a couple of light showers with lightning around us - nothing major though - this started at about 5:45 pm for about 10 minutes off and on and again later lasting from about 7:00 to 8:30 or so also off and on. |

Showers on and off from about 9:00 pm to about 11:30 pm. Had hellatious winds between about 9:15 - 10:00 associated with thunderstorm activity -per the wifes report. At work in Fernley - had thundershowers for several hours mainly just east and west of AMAZON.COM with several good showers and lighter showers for about a 3.5 hour total. good rain, but a lot of dust/dirt mixed in with the rain. |

Missed weather at home from 9-1-13 to 9-3-13. Had good shower and Thunderstorm on 9-4-13 - one light brief shower around 2:45 pm and then a good heavy rainshower around 5:30 - 5:55 pm with a good thunderstorm. Surprised the base did not record the thunderstorm as it appeared to develop almost on top of them as it moved to the NNW then NNE. Real strong winds from SE as the cell moved NNE east past my home causing rain to blast east facing sides of house, cars and the RV in front of our house. |

Pretty heavy according to wife but had no times to go with it and winds were pretty strong as well per wife (not in to weather as such she says).
