Not very hot, temps 80-85, humidity high most days. Four wildfires on our road after a T-storm on 8/7. OR dept forestry put fires out with help of helicopter and THANKFULLY a neighbor with a DEEP pond with lots of water so they could dip many many times and douse the fires. Praying for rain.

The interesting thing is that we were told there was not much of a thunderstorm in our area (we were out of town). Luckily it rained more in the areas where there are forest fires near here and slowed them down quite a bit. The smoke has been pretty bad since July 26 when they started but has cleared now that mop-up operations are in place and the weather has cooperated by being cooler with less wind in the fire areas.
