The day started out foggy and quickly cleared up to a beautiful clear sunny day. Our creek usually dries up in the summer months. This year was no exception. It did dry up in April and has been dry ever since except for a few days after heavy rains. The 1.42 inches of rain we received Sunday night and Monday caused the creek to come up and cover our ford in the late afternoon.
