The amount of moisture in the rain gauge does not accurately tell of the amount of snow we received because the snow "fell" horizontally. And although we have a dusting of snow on the ground in many places, we have drifts all over the place ranging from 3 to 12 feet tall! We're thankful for our shelter & electricity taking care of us yes. & the moisture we have received but we're also very thankful for the beautiful sunny, calm, & pleasantly cool morning we have this morning.
