It hailed pea size hail for 2 minutes from 3:10 to 3:12 p.m. This is the first freeze to effect the flowers in my in town yard. Last saturday it froze my garden that is 1 mile from my reporting station site. To me fall is officially here.

There are dark low clouds to the north, but they seem to be going around us to the east. The skies at this time are clear to the extreme south east. The Blue mountains to the west got a dusting of snow last night. the mountain right now is covered with couds, but the area west of the mountain is clearing also.

My path to get to my snow board had 3 inches of snow yesterday, but during the night it all blew off the board. My path that had 3 in. of snow yesterday,are bare this morning. Around 5:00 a.m. the wind let up. there are small gusts of wind at reporting time this morning. Changed daily precip from 3.00 to NA and new snow from NA to 3.0 CK

It didn't snow yesterday or during the night. the work of the wind changing the landscape. Impossible to get an accurate snow or water measurement.

I took the total from snowboard which was in a drifted area. drifting was so bad that it is impossible to get an acurate on total. Clear beautiful day at reporting time this morning.
