Temps hovered in the high 20's most of the day which started off with rain, quickly turning over to freezing rain. About 4PM-EST rain turned over to all sleet which got heavier for the next hour. A little after 5 the precip turned over to all snow, which was heavy at times. This morning it is 22 degrees, everything is coated in Ice. 3 inches of snow is on the ground. The police dept. has multiple accidents right now. Hoping the sun will appear, and the temps rise enough to melt the roadway.

A severe thunderstorm warning was put out for this storm as it moved East. My next door neighbor had a huge oak tree in his yard that fell. and hit his house, and the house next door. No one was hurt. Other trees were down in the area, and parts of town lost electricity.

Also several buildings were struck by lighting causing a fire, including a church. A tree also fell thru the middle of a house, destroying it. We were on the edge of this storm. Proud of the rain we did get. No flooding at my location.
