Also the sun is at a lower angle this time of year with more shading in the neighborhoods yielding slightly cooler temps compared to the non-shaded airports.

The isolated shower went on towards the south and disipated. The streets were wet from just east of watt ave to around howe ave with the heaviest along the fulton ave corridor (about 3 mi west of here)

Most of the lightning strikes seemed to be around Folsom, Rancho Cordova area and around Orangevale/Citrus Heights as the activity seemed to move toward the WSW. A shower noted just after midnight just barely .01" (.005" in gauge). There was a layer of ash on my car yesterday from the big King fire in the mountains.
