We had a short, but intense period of rain early Sunday afternoon which left about 0.12" of rain. The rest of the rain fell during the night and early this morning. We had a very intense thunderstorm with heavy rain that woke me up about 10:45 pm. I also was awakened by rain early this morning. It is not currently raining but we have low clouds and it is very wet. The colors are fabulous! |

Rain fell in the morning beginning about 8 am for a short time. The sun came out but clouds moved in again late morning. At about 12:30 we had a very intense thunderstorm with wind, thunder, lightning, and heavy rain. The lightning strike was close enough that the house shook. We had rain off and on in the afternoon but the rain ended in the evening. This morning is cloudy. |

Wednesday was a brilliant fall day! The colors are spectacular, not just the aspen but the willows, grasses, and other plants as well. This morning is clear. |

Thursday was another Indian Summer Day! The fall colors are breath taking and I feel we are at our peak. A few trees lost their leaves yesterday with the afternoon breeze. There are still some trees however, that are still green but not for long. We are having a spectacular fall! |
