All this rain came yesterday afternoon. It was terribly hot and humid today. We went to dinner between 6:30 and 8:00. When we left there was little over .22 in the gauge, when we returned it had rained well over an inch. Obviously, the rest fell over night during moderate thunderstorms. |

Can you say "HOT." No rain to report, however the temp feel like we are about 2 degrees below melt. Man I love ENC in the summer! Fall will be here before we know it, then we will be talking about how dreary it is. Oh well, I guess it will always be something. Happy Wednesday! |

I don't know where this precipitation came from. It wasn't cloudy or overcast yesterday that I noticed. I guess as hot as it was we could just attribute the moisture to "sweat." That's right, It was so warm and humid even our rain gauge was sweating.
Well we have made it til Thursday, only a couple more to go. I'm pulling for ya! |

Well we made it. It has been a smoker this week and threatens to be "Fry-Day." It should be between 95-99 today with oppressive humidity once again. We are to get a break this weekend leading to some beautiful, mild weather next week.
Should be a good time to get some yard work done around the house. Until next time ... |

perspiration 1.57 - precipitation 0 I was out mowing last evening, I don't think there was a dry spot on me. The humidity has been through the roof as well as the temps. From this mornings observations, it looks like there is change on the horizon.
We should have an interesting weather weekend to report.

Most of this rain came yesterday between 2-7 P.M. We had hit and miss showers with occasional heavy rains. Should be a nice day today. I think I will fire up the grill today. Remember to say hi to the Lord today and we will see you tomorrow. |

No rain to report today, just beautiful blue skies. My wife said this would be a good time to do some "honey do's and things around the house." I told her it would also be a good time to go play Golf or go fishing. I think she will probably win this one! Well it's Hump Daaay! Time to shift into coast, and glide on through. We had a day with widely scattered t-showers. I was able to see them on the horizon here and yonder. We had very little precipitation at this station. Weatherman is calling for more of the same today. Haven't heard anything out of the hill folk about foliage changes, would love an update.

I know there was a lot heavier rain around the area, there was even a confirmed tornado touch down a few miles away. Major thunderstorms with torrential downpours were all around us, but never got to us. Hope all were as lucky as we were. |

What a beautiful day yesterday. With the exception of a bit of humidity, It was very pleasant outside. The beach report has the water temp. dropping and the fish bite should soon follow. Get your fishing reels greased and your line changed cause the time for us to start slingin' lead is right around the corner. |

Yesterday at 2pm I asked one of my workers where all this rain we were supposed to get was, by 3 We had almost 1/2 in. The storms came up that fast. By 6 we had well over an inch. By morning we had 2.26 in. Nice rain. |

The weather has been absolutely beautiful. Been trying to do some surf fishing now that the beach is open for vehicles. The wind has been honking out of the NE which isn't good for much more than drying out the air. Oh well, at least it's not 100 degrees. |

We had one little shower yes. that gave us just over .10 . That was it until I fired up the B-B-Q. Of course I had to cook in the rain. We have misty rain this first day of fall, just enough to get you wet. Looks like a good day to watch some football! |

This rain fell yesterday between the time of my observation and 5:00 pm. We had only around .01 overnight. I'm looking forward to a nice weekend and lots of fall fishing. I hear their biting so good that you have to hide to bait your hook. That's my kinda fishin'! |

I knew I should have plugged that hole in the top of my rain gauge. My sunshine has crept out and the rain has taken it's place. I reckon if I leave it open long enough the sun may return. We are supposed to have rain the next couple days and then the sun should be back... |
