Rain accompanied by thunderstorms was the big story on the night of the 13th, Tuesday night. Same system that caused damaging excessive rainfall and flash flooding in Penn Yan, Yates county. Rainfall catch here suspiciously low. Saw a large seed or berry in the rain gauge funnel opening, perhaps not allowing for full catch, but overflow. Has since been corrected. |
