Hi 52, low 37. We lost power on 10/4 shortly after I made my report, it was restored yesterday. There was constant wet snowfall and increasing winds with temps steady around 30 on 10/4. The storm ended early the morning of 10/5; by afternoon the sun came out and settling and melting of snow was well underway. The storm total moisture that was received here was 3.46" which included rain and approx. 12" of wet snow. Not as much snow here as areas to the south and east, we were very fortunate - no loss of livestock, trees or structures as many in this part of the state are dealing with. |

Hi 63, low 39. Snow continued to settle overnight (I can see pumpkins in the garden this morning that weren't visible yesterday evening). Yesterday was filled with the sad, horrific stories of livestock loss in the area due to the Oct. 4 blizzard. Many more to come I imagine - our hearts go out to these folks. |
