The rain, thunder, and clouds left about 12:33 p.m. We had another cell arrive about 9 p.m. and gave us another short shower and moved on.

During the night a thunder storm rolled in and dropped a little more rain into the gauge and the total capture was 0.83 inches. Our vegetation and trees are loving this for the end of July. The reason reports are turned in later in the day is I loose satellite service and am unable to send in my 7 a.m. reading until I have service.

What a nice relief from the heat. 5 am a rumble of thunder and lightening gave us a nice heavy down pour for about 45 minutes that netted us 0.60 inches of rain. Back to back showers in early August is great for the hay farmers.
