Hi yestd. 100F (5:50 PM) followed by a spectacular thunderstorm starting at 6 pm with occ. heavy rain –over-topped rain gutters, lightning strikes to one per every 10 seconds – about half cloud to cloud - almost continuous thunder for an hour, a few minutes of marble sized hail, wind gusts to 40+, some over-ground sheet flooding, and several rainbows- the lot – Monsoon with a Capital “M”. Too wet here for lightning fires and the cell was so strong it blocked our HD satellite signal for over 30 min. It was 96F when rain started, falling to 66F by 7 PM. In 33 years at this site I have never seen a summer with so much moisture – 30 plus days with some rain in last 90 days
