Partly cloudy, mild temps. About 2pm a storm came roaring through with icy rain and strong N winds. I was soaked in no time putting the mares in. Lots of nasty cloud to ground lightning made it pretty exciting for a while until I got back inside. It only lasted about 15 minutes but was intense. |

RAIN!!!! Lots and lots of beautiful rain!! it left puddles in the yard!! Snow began about 1pm with huge goose feather flakes. Then it turned to grapple, then back to regular flakes just pouring down! It is so wet it's like shoveling water!! Its warm enough that we don't have a hard freeze, so its easy to move right now. Wind is picking up with sunrise. THANK YOU GOD!!! We needed this moisture in the worst possible way :D |

While having dinner in town, it poured down hard. Our friends were camping at Beecher Island and heard it was being evacuated because the river which had been DRY for many years was flooding. Storm hit about 8pm, with high winds from the NW. It blew out dog door straight in. I figured that would do in out sweet corn, but its still standing this am.
