Cloudy and cooler temps helped the fire crews working on the fireline around Glacier Park/Going To The Sun Road (East) but not the aerial support needed to backup the fire crews. three or four main waves of moisture included heavier rain in the early afternoon averaged .02-.03 per 'storm'. |

Lake Winds were the big story for this report fairly constant 20-25MPH all day. Finally cleared out some of the smoke and haze for us. was able to photograph both sides of the lake for a change (this month)*at report time, however, some showers were passing Glacier Park and winds were forecast for 35MPH with a Lake-Wind advisory in effect. |

A number of waves passing through beginning with 0.01" of rain (12:30PM-1:00PM)2ND wave (5:05PM-5:20PM) started out as Severe over Missoula and another 0.03" and winds arrived overnight with the additional 0.05". It is cool, very breezy, and cloudy this AM 60F. One More note the car was washed yesterday between the first and second wave and it is now covered with a very fine ash/dust. |

It should be noted physically the tube shows a 'Trace' but we could find no other evidence of rain just dew on our cars and windows so we are going to call this a 'condensation event' overnight, which was plenty chilly. |

After a wild weather day (winds, ash, vis less than a mile) NOW, it is clear and slightly breezy this AM we can see the mountains around us again! there are sailboats on the lake. Beautiful morning was the pay off after several weeks of nasty wildfire smoke.A low of 41 at the airport, slightly cooler here DP was 36 and we have dew. |

Dry conditions a low around freezing. A frost advisory was issued but i was not up at 6:55AM to check locally. The temp at Glacier Int was 33(f) about 30miles North. The smoke.. is definately back. a new fire has popped up 25 miles to the ESE of us near 'The Bob" and seems to be depositing midlevel plume over us (?) I can attest to a mid-night (every) decrease in humidity spike followed by change in winds and rapidly decreasing temps shortly after dark. Our weather station shows two distinct "valleys" in the Humidity graph every day, as the thermal pressure gives in and the cooler mountain air begins its decent back towards the lake. |

Wide spread rain and showers started with a "Trace" wave from the East just after 5:00pm (approx) then clearing and a warm front formed south of the lake and tracked northward overnight producing the widespread pattern. The parent Low, over the lower central basin of WA is eventually headed this way so expect some more!
