I heard the wind come up about 4:30 and this morning much of the 8" of snow we had is gone and it is raining at 6:30. Everything we have left is in 5' drifts, of course, but we have quite a bit of bare ground too. Our temp is at 35°, windchill is 11° and as I mentioned, it is raining at 6:30. BP is 29.84 and falling, RH is 82%, winds are from the SW at 21-40 mph with greater gusts.

I measured at 5:30 p.m. and we had 1 1/2 " of snow. That measured .07" in the tube. It snowed a little during the night and this morn at 7:00 we had another 1/2". That measured .06. So our 24 hr total of snow was 2" and .13 in the tube. It is cloudy and looks like it could snow more Temp was 13.7° at 7 a.m. but is up to 25° at 10:00 a.m.

This morn it is clear and the wind is just beginning at 7:30. When I got up at 5:30 it was -13° with no wind, now it is -6° with a -28° wind chill. BP is 30.33 and rising. RH is 71%. Skies are clear. A lot of our snow melted yesterday, but I spent 2 1/2 hr cleaning the decks of snow.

We got just a skift of snow and the tube measured .01 at 8:00. So not much. We don't have any wind this morning and that is nice. Cloudy skies. Still have some snow around in drifts, but the 40° temp yesterday took more of it.

It snowed like that until about 7:00 p.m. I measured then and we had 1.6" on the ground. It was still melting some so a lot did melt. We had .11" in the tube at that time. After that it snowed another 1/4" and put another .02" in the tube. Much ice underneath. So we got a total of 1.8" of snow on the ground and .13" in the tube. We have 28.6° this morn with no wind. BP is 29.75 and falling, RH is 88%.

8/16/2015	6:45 AM	0.00	0.0	M	M	M	No moisture yesterday, but a day filled with smoke. In the early morn we had 71° and a SW wind, and the temp near 90° about 9:00. Then about 10:00 a.m. the wind changed to the N and the temp dropped to 74° and the smoke rolled in. The wind blew all day, mostly from the N and NW. And we had heavy smoke all day. This morn it's still smokey with a red moon coming up in the East. Temp is 47.9°. BP is 30.15 and rising, RH is 78% and we have 2-5 mph N wind. Everyone have a blessed Lord's Day.

At 6:00 we had 62.3°.and 58% RH and skies were partly cloudy. Now at 6:45, the wind has come up for 4-6 mph to 17-25 mph and the skies are completely cloudy. No more rain yet.

I measured at 4:00 p.m. when it was not raining and we had .25" in the tube. This it quit for a while and started during the night. This morning it is raining moderately at 5:45 and we have another .07" in the tube. BP is 29.75 and rising, RH is 81% and there is no wind at the time.

I measured at 11:00 a.m. and we had .30" in the tube, at 9:00 p.m. we had another .25" and it has just rained, as the deck is very wet and we got just .02" out of that, making our total 24 hour .57". We're so thankful for that. God is GOOD!. Our temp is 38.2°. I covered my tomato plants last night as at 9:30 I could see my breath. BP is 29.87 and rising, RH is 91% and skies at this point are completely cloudy.

This morn when I measured the moisture in the tube, it was .42". The remaining snow on the ground is about 2". Hard to tell with the drifts and bare ground. We have 12.1° this morn, BP is 29.93 and rising, RH is 74% and skies are partly cloudy.
