A very intense Lightning storm passed just south of us between 4-5.15am this morning. The thunder was very muted but the lightning was constant. It produced a few rain showers but thankfully no large amounts(I never thought I would be thankful for so little rain ! Our pond has only just started to recede from record levels and we are still repairing and rebuilding our land and clearing downed trees from the deluges of historic rain in May and earlier this month).
