10/11/2014 8:30 AM 0.05 M M M M Not a bad day but we are warned of seriously high waves with possible sneaker waves to watch out for. How ever when a sneaker comes it is too late to watch out! Because it is a long weekend and the waves are roaring "fools" will head over from the valley to watch the waves thus we will probably loose at least one person who jumped up on a log to keep from getting wet only to be rolled under the log. Sounds awful and it is but people never learn such simple concepts that water lifts logs and they roll. Take care, I sure will.
10/12/2014 8:30 AM 0.02 M M M M Foggy again high waves sent 6 peolpe running to the top of a rock they shouldn't have been on with incoming tide - needed airlift got last idiot off the rock just as the wave crashed over it. And your tax dollar is paying the Coast Guard to do this just as when a stupid skier needs to be airlifted on tax $ not to mention the danger the rescue team is put in. Surf was so high that a boat rescue wasn't possible!

Not that vacationing people will pay attention, we had a huge fire on our beach just north of our house thus with prevailing NW wind we slept with a smokey house.
