11/9/2014 8:00 AM 0.00 0.0 M M M It was dry at 8:00am this morning and by 8:30 we had light mist in the air. The snow started about 8:45 and continued most of time until about 1:00pm. When I went outside at 10:30am, ice was sticking to metal surfaces but was melted shortly after. We still have intermittent light snow flakes in the air. Snow is collected along buildings and in the grass but melted on sidewalk.
11/10/2014 10:30 AM 0.36 M M M M We had 0.36 melted in the gauge this morning about 10:30am. We had freezing rain first and then snow with a lot of wind so not sure how much snow. My driveway looked like 4 inches but out in the open it looks more like over an inch but not 2 inches. The gauge was froze to the post covered with ice but windows had lost their ice by morning. We have had intermittent snow showers most of the day with north wind.
11/12/2014 10:00 AM T T 0.00 3.5 M We had just a trace melted in the gauge this morning from intermittent snow flakes in the air during last 24 hours. I estimate another inch or two of very light fluffy snow overnight and snow flurries and blowing snow during the day today with a strong NW wind. Visibility is down to less than half mile at times. I estimate 3-4 inches of snow on the ground now.

I estimate another 2 inches of new fluffy snow with about 4 inches total on the ground. I have seen these type of flurries really build up the depth of the snow that will stay most of the winter.

5/10/2015 8:00 AM 1.00 M M M M We had just an inch of rain overnight. Most of the heavy rain happened after midnight. We are having thunder and lightning right now with fairly heavy rain leaving another half inch in the gauge since 8:00am today.
5/11/2015 8:00 AM 1.79 7.0 M M M We got up this morning to an estimated 6 to 8 inches of new heavy wet snow. Trees are broken and laying down. We do have electricity. We had an inch of rain in gauge at 4:00pm yesterday and snow started about 10:00pm last night. The moisture is welcome, but we are dealing with a lot of tree damage. Neighbors to the south of us reported pea size hail about 5:00pm. We just had sleet and pellets at that time just enough that you could see in the grass. We still have a light mix of rain and snow coming down. I look for runoff issues if this snow melts fast.

The sun has been trying to come out but it remains mostly cloudy at this time with the occasional sprinkle in the air.

It is still very cold with cold wind chills. Temp has been around the teens with -09 below at 10:30 last night. I estimate about 2 inches of snow still on the ground but have no place to truly measure it.

I estimate we still have about 4 inches of snow on the ground as too cold to thaw and the wind just keeps circulating it.

I did not feel any moisture coming down at 10:30 when I was outside. Most of the snow is gone except for where it was blown by the wind.

Melted the gauge this morning and found 0.03 since last report. Today is cloudy with a west or SW wind. Temp is in 20's about 11:00. There is less than an inch of snow on the level.

It is not freezing on the wires or buildings and temp is in 30's now. We have had dry days until this morning since last report. The snow is gone with the warm temps of last three days.

2/22/2015 2/25/2015 10:30 AM 4 0.14 1.0 M Feb 22,23,24 were all dry days. Last night about 5:00pm it started to snow. This morning the east side of the house is covered in ice and driveway is very icy along with a light snow cover. I estimate about an inch of new snow along with some freezing rain since then.
2/26/2015 3/17/2015 10:00 AM 20 0.00 M M We have been through a long dry period with some very warm temps until today. Sunday it was in the high 70's to low 80's. Today it is barely in 40's. All snow is gone with the exception of some in the trees where the sun does not get.

3/25/2015 3/29/2015 8:00 AM 5 0.11 M M We had a few snowflakes earlier this week but did not get out to gauge to see what was there. There was less than an inch of snow, just a dusting at most. We had a light rain shower last night leaving 0.11 in the gauge this morning.
3/30/2015 4/08/2015 8:00 AM 10 0.00 M M I have been checking the gauge every morning and it still registers zero new precip. The inside of gauge has been damp but nothing runs out. We have had fog and low clouds for most of last 2 days. At 8:00am today we had fog with about 2 miles visibility by 10:00am. It has mostly lifted now but still hazy and no rain.

6/15/2015 6/17/2015 8:00 AM 3 0.81 M M The mornings of June 15 & 16 were dry. I checked gauge at 7:00am June 16 and it started to rain about 8:00am leaving the 0.81 I found this morning. The clouds are trying to clear now and we have a few peeks of sun with a light variable wind.

The morning of June 18 was dry. We had sunshine this morning and has been cloudy since noon with a brisk south wind.

7/3/2015 7/06/2015 8:00 AM 4 0.10 M M The morning of July 3 we had 0.05 in the gauge from light rain after I read the gauge on the 2nd. July 4 & 5 were dry. This morning we had 0.05 in the gauge. I noticed the sidewalk was damp last night at 10:30pm. Today we have very hazy skies. It looks like and smells like smoke again from Canadian fires but could be humidity. Visibility is about 2 miles.

We had one very close lightning strike near our buildings about 11:15 am. I can see no damage but it was very scary close. We had a heavy dew this morning.

7/25/2015 1:30 AM I never actually saw any hail stones but could hear them and garden was damaged with leaves shredded and plants broken. It was raining so hard we could not see out and were trying to get windows closed. Standing wheat crop to our North and NW a half mile were completely destroyed and corn leaves shredded but not broken. Damages are less further north stretching to county line. Crops were also damaged to our west a mile or so with lessor damage of shredded leaves. The storm only lasted a couple minutes here at the place.
