The 1st round was well to the west with very little audible thunder. The 2nd round was to the south and much closer with one peel of thunder about 2310hrs thoroughly shaking the house. Easily the best light show here in years with what must of amounted to several hundred strikes. Brilliant fireball meteor or space junk reentry visible towards the eastern horizon last night at about 2138hrs moving in the direction of Reno. For the 10-15 seconds it was within my view it appeared to become progressively fragmented like embers falling off of a burning log.
