No hail or strong winds were observed at station. This morning there was a very light rain falling at observation time.

9/30/2016 8:30 AM 0.78 M M M M We had a shower about noon, that dropped 0.02." Around 4:20 PM, we caught the edge of a supercell that dropped an additional 0.24" and included some hail. (I reported it to Skywarn and also made a hail report here) The rain lasted 20 minutes, and because we were at the edge of the storm, the sun continued to shine through most of it. Last night about 10:00 PM, and again about 12:30 AM, we had additional thunderstorms, each lasting about ten minutes, that added up to the total reported. I did not take individual readings for those storms. With each storm, the rain rate was heavy enough to cause minor flooding until the water could drain off.
