10/20/2015 7:00 AM 0.21 M M M M An isolated strong thunderstorm built to the west/southwest of my site with a vivid lightning display. We caught the south and east edge of the storm as it moved to the north and east, collapsing and rebuilding generally over Lake Meredith and the Fritch area. There was a brief period of marble size hail at my site at 9:30 as a stronger finger of the storm grazed us briefly.
10/21/2015 7:00 AM 1.10 M M M M The first wave of showers from the system out west came across my site at 1:20 pm and lasted for a few minutes, dropping 0.04. No rain occurred the remainder of the day until another wave moved across with considerable lightning beginning at 11:45 pm. Heavy rain was occurring when I went to bed at midnight. Light rain was still falling this morning at 7:00 am.
10/22/2015 7:00 AM 1.27 M M M M The low pressure system produced storms that trained to the west of my site all day, putting water in the Lake Meredith watershed. 4/29/2016 7:00 AM 1.08 M M M M A strong thunderstorm built west of Fritch and moved across Lake Meredith and my site between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm. Ping Pong size hail began falling at 8:00 pm and was soon combined with windblown hail from ping pong down to pea size hail. Wind was strong and changed directions several times during the next several minutes. Wind blown rain mixed with random hail continued for about 15 minutes. Stronger parts of the storm went to the north and to the south. Rain had stopped by 8:30pm. Total accumulation was 0.20. Beginning at 4:00 a.m., rain began with some marble hail from thunderstorms moving in from the southwest. Lightening, thunder, rain, wind, some small (pea to marble) hail continued in waves throughout the morning until 7:00 a.m. and continues at this time. Accumulation from this morning rains was 0.88, for a total of 1.08 for the 24 hours. Some field and bar ditch ponding is occurring.

5/30/2016 7:00 AM 2.58 M M M M Thunderstorms began popping in the area around noon. A strong storm began dropping rain with pea, marble, and ping pong size hail driven by strong east wind around 1:00 pm. Hail lasted about 20 minutes and then heavy rain persisted for about an hour and moderate rain continued the rest of the day until about 7:00 pm
5/31/2016 7:00 AM 2.51 M M M M A strong thunderstorm system moving southeast from the Dalhart/Dumas area appeared to be missing my location to the west. The system moved over the Canadian River breaks and stopped southward movement and began building to the east along the breaks. The storm continued building from the west to the east for several minutes before precipitation began, but considerable lightening and thunder began much earlier. Rain began at 12:35 am, very heavy rain began at 12:45 am continuing until 1:30 and then continued with moderate to light rain past 2:00 am. The heavy rain was accompanied by continuous lightening and thunder. Pea to large marble hail fell angled from the southwest during most of the heavy rain. There was no major accumulation of hail on the ground. Wind, at times, approaching 50-60 mph. I would like to have an explanation for the behaviour of this storm system.

6/10/2016 7:00 AM 0.04 M M M M Storms approached from the west with considerable cloud to cloud and some ground to cloud lightning. A good lightning show, but little moisture. Light rain, sprinkles, began about 9:15 pm and ended around 10:30.
6/14/2016 7:00 AM 1.28 M M M M Storms began forming in the western panhandle in the late afternoon. I was registering a dewpoint of 67-68 and pressure was dropping rapidly...atmosphere had the ominous oppressive feeling. Sprinkles began about 7:30 pm and continued light until about 8:30. Heavy rain began around 8:30 and continued until 9:00pm. Constant lightening, thunder, and rumble was occurring during the heavy rain and beyond. Moderate to light rain continued from 9:00 past midnight. Some pea size hail fell, but no larger hail fell in our area that I detected.
