It was the 2nd time this season for higher elevations but the the 1st time this season down to Donner Pass and Lake Tahoe level. It even snowed but didn't stick down in Reno & Sparks where daughter lives. Farther south in the Sierras they closed Hwy 89 over the pass and Tioga Rd. in Yosemite overnight. |

About 50% cloudy & sunny, barest of breezes and it is 62. So frustrating yesterday afternoon & evening with rain about 20 miles north and 20 miles south, but nothing here until early evening. It was like someone had painted a Teflon swatch over area so clouds couldn't come overhead whenever I looked at the radar. High was 65 with some gusty wind wind at times. Since atmospheric river was from warmer waters, wind was not cold. Low was 52. |

My neighborhood streets flooded in mid to late afternoon including most of my Court the highest in area which only happens once in a while. All the usual roads flooded including Rohnert Park Expressway West just beyond the entrance to my MHP. Across town "A,F, G & H" sections and probably others had some flooding in streets and yards. Commerce Blvd at the Copeland creek bridge area overflowed and flooded Commerce Blvd & Hunter Dr. intersection. Hinebaugh creek did the same at Redwood Dr. bridge between Martin and RPXWY. Flooding was a influnced by a King tide high tide at about 1:30 pm. The Russian river flirted with flood stage. Some areas received over 5 inches of rain. |

Still raining and it is 56. Lots of rain and gusty wind overnight. My neighborhood street started flooding a bit after 7 am. Water reached its highest between 9 and 10 am. Still flood but is going down. My street is the highest in neighborhood so surrounding streets got more water. When first started flooding as runoff couldn't go down storm drains due to creek right there, water was fairly clear. But because when high tide the Russian River gets higher so Laguna De Santa Rosa has nowhere to go, then creeks back up finally coming up thru storm drains. The water turns a muddy brown from sediment in water. |

No street flooding at this location yet, but high tide was just a few minutes ago and it was a King tide so possibly later on since Russian River is already above flood stage. Our storm drains drain into Hinebaugh creek/Laguna De Santa Rosa (depending on what map you look at) which joins main channel of Laguna. Laguna drains into the Russian River which is flooding so nowhere to go but backing up all around Laguna. |
