Rained the whole evening and it was coming down steadily at times, especially between 8:30 and 9 pm or so. Light rain otherwise. Green power flashes lit up the sky like lightning around 9 pm and power went out for 3.5 hours. Never seen anything like it. Power lines were downed a few blocks away as a result of the explosions. It was likely weather-related (excessive moisture). Also quite the melt associated with the warm temperatures and rainfall. A good 5-7 cm of snow has melted since yesterday morning with more melt yet to go through to tomorrow.
