Observed "hunter's moon" moon rise, slightly obscured by thin clouds on the horizon, cloud formation formed bands across the rising moon reminiscent of bands on Jupiter ( not the rings around, but bands on ) Winds picked up just prior to moon rise, peaking at 18mph E @ 19:24.
Web search " when is moon rise oct16, 2016 " for more info on definition of hunters moon, what defines a "super moon" , info on planets, lots more. ( change date as needed ) . Not to worry if you missed this one, two more "super moons" on the schedule for 2016.
