One lighting strike just SW of this location was chained lightning strike around 5:10pm. At 5:15pm pea to dime size hail observed for about 1 min. Surprised Not much rain .15 for entire storm, however less than 1/2 mile South of this location indications of standing water show areas nearby had a substantial rainfall event. Continuous Lightning was impressive.

This location some trees appear to have dead leafs. Not just changing leafs. The yard is very brown with dead grass. Had 1 week in late September of 5 days in a row of mid 90s 5 days of record highs. Today October 3rd it was 85f. Forecast is 1-2 incjes of rain by this Saturday October 7th.
