This has been a wide-spread event covering several states, including Missouri and Arkansas Many roads have had chunks of pavement washed away and some highways and bridges are closed, as are some schools. The rain has stopped for the present but the damage remains. Several folks have had to evacuate their homes. Damage will most likely run into the multi-millions of dollars throughout the Mid-West states. Sadly, several people have lost their lives due to flooding.
