Dog dug up several bones from the side of the house; we've lived in this house for 30 years and never buried a pet in that place. |

Another morning, another zero. 55°F. Nice walk with the dog. Pulled up rest of tomato plants. Thought my mums were done for, but found new leaves; I cut off dead branches and watered well. Haven't seen any hummers at the feeder in past two or three days. Will soon be time to replace it with the suet feeder. |

Yesterday for us was all about the wind. Double-digit wind gusts blew all day. Highest gusts was 35mph, but 30+ winds were common until about 9:30pm. The BP began the day at 1005mb, but pressure continued to climb until it was lights out at 1018mb. This morning the pressure is 1026mb and the winds are light. The atmosphere has found its happy place. |

We had quite the day yesterday. We hunkered downstairs in our dedicated safe place with our dog (who had had surgery that morning) and one cat. We watched at the area of rotation and fortunately it dissipated some and then turned a bit. The NWS/GSP did a super job with all the severe wx in the area. I drove for an hour looking for damage; I found none! So glad. |
