We have a dry creek bed in the gully behind our house which only runs when we have significant rainfall. After this amount of rain, I can usually hear it, but I don't hear it this morning so, hopefully, the ground is absorbing most of the rainfall. I am not in a location where I can observe flooding from my house.

It is very windy, but I don't see any branches down or any damage of any kind. The snow is wet and heavy, but it is blowing. It rained quite hard before the change over to snow, but the weight of the snow makes me wonder where the bulk of the precipitation is. At this time, we are getting a fine mist of something.

This was followed by several hours of plain rain which melted any new snow and melted down what little snow pack we have. After the change to snow during the night, everything froze solid. A new cover of 0.9 inches fell on top of the solid snow/ice pack, and this is where my measurements originate. It is very windy at this time and any new snow is likely to blow away, making future measurements extremely difficult.
